About Noah

A recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Masters Degree (MM) In Voice, specializing in art song, literature, and opera, Noah is a vibrant presence on stage and a dynamic educator in the classroom and rehearsal room. Noah also holds a Bachelors Degree (BM) in Voice, with a minor in French language and literature from the Florida State University College of Music in Tallahassee, Florida and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Music (DM) in Voice and Literature at the Indiana University Jacobs school of Music in Bloomington, Indiana.

As a south Florida native, temporary New England Transplant, and soon to be Midwesterner, Noah has had the opportunity to work with individuals in all walks of life. Teaching students ages eight through eighty five, he was the former Director of Music at Oceanview United Methodist Church in Juno Beach Florida, in which he directed a choir of approximately twenty adults ages forty to eighty-five, programmed and directed large scale works such as Vivaldi's "Gloria" And the "Gospel Mass" by Robert Ray, and re-started and directed the church’s resident handbell choir. During this time, Noah also worked as an assistant director and private lessons teacher for an independent organization known as "Whole Vibes Music Therapy and Lessons" in which he held a leadership position in both the Inter-ability choir and theater groups, and taught private voice and piano lessons to students aged eight through eighteen. Focusing specifically on working with neurodivergent individuals, Noah has found a budding career in combining his passion for helping this population discover the joys of music through lessons, teaching, performing, and education!

In the pursuit of his doctorate, Noah seeks to angle his performance and research to better understand the interactions between developmental psychology, neurodivergent differences, and how to combine these with voice and operatic performance practice. He is the current recipient of the Don Plummer Excellence Scholarship, and a concurrent recipient of the Jacobs School of Music Artistic Excellence Fellowship.

Students of Noah have found significant success not only in the classical and operatic performance world, but also in musical theater ranging from golden age to contemporary, alongside piano and music theory performance practice. A pedagog himself, Noah has a combined near twenty five years of performance and education history across multiple disciplines, that he would be more than excited to share with you and your students!
